My practical course in Prague started on July, the first, with a 5 hours journey
from my home in upper Austria to the student's home which is situated in the 7th district
of Prague. In this weekend I visited the most interested places in Prague. Monday was my
first day at work, and my college Hana picked my at the student's home and showed me how
to get from there to the company in the International Business Centre near the Wenzelsplace
of Prague.

My collegues at Daikin gave me a warm welcome and I was accepted as a collegue from the beginning.

My main job at Daikin was to calculate something like the transport costs or the production
costs in some European countries. The other time I see the service engineer Paul to customers
or do some AutoCAD painting. I had to do also some administration work, like sorting billets
and sending them to the customers. Most time it was really interesting.

At the weekends I mostly travelled around, and visited the most important places in Prague,
like the summer castle from Queen Anna, or the castle from the princess of Boehme. I also went
on top of the famous little Eiffel tower, or to the famous Wenzelsplace.

Summarizing I can say, Daikin Air conditioning is a big and interesting company and working
there was a pleasure.
